How to Get the Skateboard

Answer. Enter the clown-mouth room in Misery Town, take its left path and defeat the optional enemy for the movement reward. Equip the skateboard from the inventory. On older versions, put it away before pressing Genesis-01 buttons.

The Basic Text Walkthrough places the optional faster-travel reward on the left path inside the Misery Town clown-mouth room. Patch 1.08 fixes the skateboard interaction with Genesis-01 buttons; update rather than treating that old bug as a puzzle.

  1. Find it. Left path of the Misery Town clown-mouth room: complete the optional fight.
  2. Equip. From the bag. The select screen in the Steam shot shows a red board.
  3. Unequip. Before buttons and before you draw with the pencil.

What it does not do

It does not count as a brawl, it does not open Stay, and it does not replace the train or the elevator.

The Spanish patineta page follows the same player-recorded route. The skateboard is separate from the 100-kick soccer achievement.

Questions I keep seeing

Where is the first skateboard?

The Basic Text Walkthrough places the faster-travel reward at the optional fight left of the clown-mouth room in Misery Town.
