Endacopia Chapter 1 Walkthrough
The Steam text walkthrough separates restoring Mellow's senses from clearing the three regional bosses. Restore mouth, eyes and hands first, then clear one region. That first clear returns you to the house for Scribbly's map task.
- New door. After the first regional clear returns you to the house, run doors.exe and use the newly unlocked hallway door.
- Tools. Pick up the flashlight and the pencil.
- Book. Use the flashlight in Mellow's room to enter the cave. Collect pages from the right wall, left ground, top of the rope and far end, then place them on the storage-room bookstand. Leave and reenter to recharge the flashlight.
- Scribbly. Draw the face, hunt the name with the flashlight, enter SCRIBBLY, take the map.
Hand, mouth, or eyes
The three sense-restoration routes can be done in any order: mouth through the Office's paywall, lever room and zipline; eyes through Timesville's first-night bridge, house and grave; hands through Misery Town's strength meter, rope fight, train and invisible maze. Restore all three before the deeper regional objectives.
Clearing any first regional boss triggers this house interlude. The walkthrough's chapter labels describe area-clear milestones, not a fixed assignment of Misery Town, Timesville and Office to chapters.
Patch 1.08 mentions a pencil texture bug. Put the pencil away before you leave the room.
Questions I keep seeing
Is the region order fixed?
The Steam walkthrough allows any order for the three sense routes and for the subsequent regional clears. Scribbly is the house task after your first regional clear.
